PressOne Africa, a startup company that allows entrepreneurs to take better control of their businesses and monitor customer phone calls, announced the completion of its $600k pre-seed funding.
This round was led by venture capital, in participation with Voltron capital and a set of stellar angels.
Founded in 2021 by Mayowa Okegbenle and Opeyemi Shokunbi, PressOne grants entrepreneurs an easy life by enabling them to establish cordial relationships with their customers.
With PressOne, business owners can access amazing features on the app and oversee and monitor all customer phone conversations, follow up properly, improve sales as well as track phone calls made by staff or team members from anywhere in the world.
In line with the company’s new funding, Unoma Adeyemi, Chief Commercial Officer of PressOne says, “We have only just scratched the surface. We want business owners to run their businesses more efficiently with peace of mind. When entrepreneurs know that their customers are well taken care of, and they can monitor business call conversations from anywhere, they can do more.
“Our goal is to see entrepreneurs grow their businesses through better customer communication without losing their peace”, she added.
Furthermore, Kola Aina, founding partner of Ventures Platform says “We are excited to be backing Mayowa and Ope as they enable millions of businesses in Africa to stay more connected to their customers. In time, PressOne will enable tomorrow’s most successful and beloved brands and businesses to unlock deeper, and more personal relationships with their customers.
“We’re at a tipping point in the evolution of customer service and businesses that will thrive within this new paradigm will be those who can listen deeply and attentively.”
