Trofira, a food delivery startup will be to serving as the headline sponsor for the Jos Food Festival according to the host, Chef Elvis Katlong Henry.
The host, Chef Elvis disclosed this in a chat with CRESTHUB on Wednesday describing it as a “win-win”.
“Trofia has been a brand I’ve been looking forward to. Having being featured on the platform was an absolute game changer for me, so having the brand serve as the headline sponsor was a win-win situation because, it’d be solving real-life problems the right way”, Chef Elvis said.
The Jos Food Festival which began as a Foodie Hangout in 2019 would be held on the 30th of December, 2021 by 12pm at the Odilins Event Centre, by National Library, Howlshe Jos and it is aimed at promoting the agricultural and tourism sectors of the state.
With the theme, “experience your culture through food”, Chef Elvis revealed that the choice of the theme was to celebrate the heritage and communal lifestyle of the residents in Jos, seeing that food is a unifying factor that cannot be overlooked.
Thus, this would serve as an avenue to have persons to express themselves at the festival – as it was a means of networking as well.
For Trofira, the partnership is an avenue to connect with vendors, potential users and other key players in the food and logistics value chain. “Everybody loves food, most people will smile at the mention of food, so, we intend to leverage on this opportunity to advertise our brand prior to our official launch”, Johnpaul Nwobodo, the CEO of Trofira told CRESTHUB.
The food festival is made up of over 15 vendors with a tailored list of meals meant to be showcased and served on the day of the festival.
