The Plateau Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (PITCDA) has announced the resumption date for the next Code Plateau cohort.
The announcement made by David Daser, the Director General of PICTDA, stated that the date for the resumption of the cohort would be on March 1, 2023 at the newly located campus of Code Plateau.
According to Daser, the resumption would follow up with an addition of new courses in line with serving the residents of Plateau state.
“We are pleased to resume the next set of cohorts on the 1st of March, 2023 with additions of new programs. The new date of resumption would be at our new campus which would accommodate a minimum of 200 people per day, meaning, we’d take more people in our next cohort”, he said.
“The new campus would provide new courses for children, people living with disabilities and non-coding courses for the elderly as a means of working towards the silicon Plateau which is the roadmap of PICTDA” he added.
The new campus would offer a residency program, gaming facilities, a large co-working space to train and support startups, internet services and offices for the technical team and Code Plateau instructors.
“The provision of all these is geared towards the vision of having a technology park in the city of Jos and it is in line with the Governor Lalong-led digital transformation agenda”, Daser said.
Currently, the campus is recruiting kitchen staff to own its functional restaurant and interested persons can sign up here.
