Cowrywise ambassadors in UniJos will hold a one day financial literacy webinar for interested persons who seek the knowledge of how to achieve their financial dreams and also, balance their numerous wants with limited resources at their disposal.
The webinar which is set to hold this Wednesday, the 29th of September, 2021 will be facilitated by Christine Ishanpepe (also known as the money mechanic), an experienced businesswoman and financial literate.
Speaking with CRESTHUB in regards to the training, the team lead for Cowrywise University of Jos, Mr. Bethel Clement revealed that the training was as a result of the thoughtfulness that many persons are not financially strong and also literate as to how to grow their wealth.
In regards to who can be in attendance, he said, “The event is for everyone, although our target audience are the youths. It is organized because we want to educate people on personal finance management as we also introduce them to Cowrywise to help them develop savings habit”.
He further added that the training is in partnership with AIESEC – a non-governmental not-for-profit organisation in consultative status with the United Nations Economics and Social Council (ECOSOC).
