Bundle — a social trading platform used for cash and cryptocurrency, has launched its web application with the aim of promoting wider adoption of cryptocurrency. The new web application will serve as an alternative for both new and existing users who seek to explore cryptocurrency trading and also money transfers.
Bundle which was launched in April 2022 by Emmanuel Babalola has over 80 assets and over 700,000 active users across Nigeria and Ghana. Also, the launch is in line with its second anniversary.
Speaking on the launch, Babalola said the need for the app was to create an atmosphere for crypto traders to have their minds at ease.
He said, “Trading should be as easy and convenient as possible for all people. This means that crypto services should be offered on multiple platforms with all users in mind and not just some.”
The platform had earlier launched its first mobile app version in 2020. The mobile app in the last two years has been one of the easiest crypto trading platforms in Africa.
Furthermore, according to the company, it is dedicated to ensuring that its applications will ensure cryptocurrency trading through possible means of ease, fun, educative, social, and exciting content that promotes the trading of crypto.
Addressing the issues and fears around cryptocurrency trading and scams, the company explained that it is working hand in hand with its risk and compliance team to remove phishing accounts. Also, the company is set to release a 2FA security feature to protect its users.
The company has also implored its users to ensure that any of their dealings with the company is done via their official Twitter and Instagram handles. They also asked users not to share their OTP or click on bait links.
Visitors to the website will be able to learn and stay informed with the latest news from Bundle through the blog. The new website also teases the launch of Bundle Futures.
With the aim of helping users mitigate loss, Bundle built simple tools to help users by releasing Bundle Leveraged Token (BLVTs) series that gives users the ability to hold leverage on a cryptocurrency that can either multiply the loss or profit on an asset.
As Bundle continues to grow and aims to expand across the continent this quarter, the need to evolve into its original mission becomes pertinent — a social finance app making crypto accessible to everyone.
