Prince Ponfa Miri Foundation signed a partnership with Bluehouse Technologies, leveraging its online platform, Infinity Gem.
The youth-led-non-profit and former management partner for Code Plateau for 2 years confirmed this new partnership with Bluehouse Technologies yesterday.
In September 2023, Infinity gem was launched by Bluehouse Technologies and it revealed the program offers a revolutionary edtech solution that offers expert mentorship, dynamic tech community, flexible payments, professional experience and so on.
Prince Ponfa Miri, the founder and president of the PPMF revealed his mandate for empowering 20,000 young people while at Code Plateau would be achieved through this partnership.
He said the foundation will equip young people with free digital skills to become change makers using the internet and digital technologies.
“I feel so excited we’re using technology to break barriers and empower young people through digital skills as it is the most fundamental area whereby digital skills are key in the revolution of the tech ecosystem” he said.
He further revealed his intention of making Plateau State and the North a region for mining tech talents.
“We are looking at 15000 to 17000 young people to help empower and build themselves up for the industrial revolution. And to curb unemployment and insecurity through digital skills, and technology has paved the way for us to empower communities and individuals”.
“The aim is to build as many young people in the tech ecosystem to revolutionize and make Plateau state a go to place for tech talents” he added.
