The news: Startup Grind, Jos chapter will hold its mid-year summer party this Saturday (July 30, 2022) at Code Plateau Campus, Adjacent Peakfield Academy along Fwavei road, Jos by 3pm.
This is the chapter’s second summer party is the second after the first in August 2019 which had David Daser – Director General, Plateau State Information And Communication Development Agency (PICTDA) as a special guest in a fireside chat.
Why it matters: Mayokun Adeoti, the Director of Startup Grind, Jos told CrestHub that the party will form a bridge for founders and entrepreneurs. “One unique thing about Startup Grind is that you can walk up to anyone and strike up a conversation. Attendees will remember the event as a time of unwinding from the hustles and bustles of grinding, while still learning useful life lessons in the process,” he said.
Adeoti added that from experience, parties draw a larger than usual audience which can be used as a good foundation for new businesses. He explained that the party offers the expansion of networks for both parties, which can be leveraged on to build growth around their businesses.
