Meta tech company has responded to the glitch encountered by its users on Tuesday.
The Communication Director, Andy Stone, acknowledged the problem yesterday, stating that it was a technical glitch that caused its users difficulty accessing the services.
Recall that Facebook, Instagram and messengers stopped working for several hours across the globe on Tuesday.
Several users took to X social media platform, expressing concern and wondering if their Meta handles were hacked.
According to detector.com, a tracking website, over 300,000 outages for Facebook and 20,000 for Instagram.
The outage quickly became a trending topics on X, with the CEO, Elon Musk taking a jab at Meta with a post saying, “if you’re reading this post, it’s because our servers are working”
