In its bid to create a more opportunities in the Metaverse, Meta (formerly known as Facebook) has revealed that its reality labs are working on haptic gloves to create a more realistic sense of touch in the metaverse.
This statement was made known by Mark Zuckerberg in a video indicating that realism can achieved in the metaverse. He further revealed that the intentions of the reality labs was to create a means by which one can be able to feel texture and pressure while touching virtual objects.
Noting that Meta was launched October 28th, 2021, this is however a laudable feat by the company and second job done after the launch of the retail stores
