Jos Tech Girls – a community that connects women within the tech ecosystem is set to host its tech storytelling event.
In view of the population of women in tech ranking up to 22% according to the National Bureau of Statistics, the meeting tagged, “My Journey Into Tech” would feature guests telling stories about their journeys to tech.
Furthermore, it would also feature a discussion session with its two speakers, Ruth Ki, a Cyber Security Enthusiast and Esther Ivy Felix, a Content Marketer at Voyance.
Speaking with CRESTHUB, Sonia Atsen, the team lead for Jos Tech Girls said, “My journey into tech might begin with lengthy and insane stories of brilliant ladies defying the odds to thrive, but considering that tech seems like a mountain too high too climb, it is safer to come listen to real-life stories of ladies in your hood”.
The event which is its first physical event for the year 2022 would be held at Rocketwaves Technologies, Suit #2, Plateau Club Complex, Central Bank Road, Jos by 2pm.
