Some of Africa’s biggest tech innovators are set to be recognized at the first-ever Africa Tech Summit Awards, with Flutterwave, Sabi, Yellow Card, and OmniRetail leading the pack. From over 300 entries, 55 finalists have been selected across 11 categories, highlighting the continent’s most impactful startups in fintech, Web3, agritech, AI, and more.
Celebrating Africa’s Digital Trailblazers
The Africa Tech Summit Awards were launched to honor groundbreaking tech solutions shaping the continent’s digital future. Categories span fintech, healthtech, climate tech, edtech, and digital commerce, reflecting Africa’s diverse and rapidly growing tech landscape.
“All the finalists are transforming their sectors and driving growth across the continent, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements in Nairobi next month,” said Lauren Adair, Director of Africa Tech Summit.
The winners will be announced on February 13 in Nairobi as part of the seventh edition of the Africa Tech Summit—a two-day event expected to bring together over 2,000 industry leaders, corporates, investors, and policymakers. Alongside the awards, the summit will feature fireside chats, panels, masterclasses, and the Investment Showcase, providing a platform for networking, learning, and funding opportunities.
