Chief Kefas Wungak the CEO of Kefiano Creative Hub has emphasized the need to establish a partnership with experts in various fields to train Plateau youths to foster creativity and equip them with the skills to monetize their creative pursuits.
Chief Wungak stated this during the official unveiling of the Kefiano Creative Hub on the 1st of December, 2023.
The CEO revealed what the hub has planned for next year. “Our target is to train 1700 youths in 2024 on the Plateau in creativity, ICT and in every aspect of the country,” he said.
Also speaking, the creative director of the Hub, Sunday Polycarp Dashilip, said that the hub aims to be a catalyst for growth and innovation on the Plateau.
In attendance were prominent dignitaries who graced the event, some of which are David Daser, former Director General, PITCDA; and Publisher of ITEdge,Segun Oraume.
Highlights from this event was the cultural creative dance, a virtual experience of the hub, the speech by the CEO, Kefiano Creative Hub and the cutting of the ribbon to officially unveil the hub.
The event was an opportunity to meet, network, and collaborate with other top creative minds on the plateau, and to also bring about immense innovation in the community.
