Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria have received a major improvement through a partnership between the National Productivity Centre (NPC) and the Pan African Association of Small and Medium Industries (PAOSMI).
This development is as a result of a Memoradum of Understanding (MoU) PNC and PAOSMI signed recently in Abuja marks a turning point for SMEs in the country.
According to a statement by the organizations, the aim of this MoU is to create a structured collaboration between NPC and PAOSMI, with a focus on promoting productivity enhancement and capacity building for SMEs across Nigeria.
“The implementation of joint initiatives and the exchange of best practices between NPC and PAOSMI are set to make a significant impact on the productivity and overall success of SMEs in Nigeria,” added the statement.
NPC explained that the partnership will teach business owners new skills, peer learning, advocating for business needs, discussing important policies, exchanging ideas, and providing practical help with technology.
“This teamwork is expected to give real advantages to these businesses, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in a tough business world” the statement added.
