Key actors in the tech ecosystem within North Central Nigeria will sit on Saturday in Ilorin to address issues that affect the Nigeria startup bill to enable the final draft; the session is organized in consideration of the needs and interests of the diverse stakeholders within segments of the innovation ecosystem across states, to validate the provisions within the bill that relates to their role within the growth expectations of the ecosystem.
The Nigeria StartUp bill is a joint effort between the presidency and the ecosystem to co-create legislation that enables startups to thrive and actively contribute to national growth and development.
The town hall will address four key issues that affect all segments of the ecosystem, which are Regulation, Capital, Infrastructure, Talent and Human Capacity Development.By December 2021, the bill is expected to be submitted to President Muhammadu Buhari who will then forward it to the National Assembly for legislation.
