The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has announced the commencement of registration for the 2.0 edition of Digital for All Challenge.
The challenge is a digital skill building competition to aid the proliferation of digital literacy in Nigeria and also equip enthusiasts with digital skills, certifications and funds using this medium.
NITDA made this announcement on Tuesday via a post on X. It reads “In line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of cultivating the critical mass digital skills that would accelerate diversification through digitalization and innovation, the application portal for Digital for All Challenge 2.0 is now open for all interested participants”.
According to the statement signed by Kashifu Inuwa, the Director General, NITDA, the agency said it aims to create numerous ‘Tech Clubs’ across the country.
“Our collective mission is clear as we launch this programme as a complementary effort toward achieving a 70% digital literacy rate for Nigerians by 2027,” he said.
In partnership with Tech4Dev, the competition would be held at state level, regional level, geopolitical level, and the grand finale. Also, 3 categories of participants are eligible to participate- young learners, youths and civil servants.
